United Nations International Day in Support of Victims of Torture
IMPORTANT UPDATE: We do not have enough signs, so if you are joining us and want to carry a sign, please download the artwork below and send to a copy shop to print a 12″x18″ sign.
On Friday, June 26, Advocacy for Humankind is hosting an event in San Francisco.
We will meet at the Ferry Building in San Francisco at 11am. Then we will line up along the Embarcadero wearing purple t-shirts (symbolic for compassion) with a large message on signs and t-shirts to support victims of torture. This t-shirt is designed to be read at a distance so that drivers-by can see it. Please see t-shirt below and a link to purchase.
We will conduct ourselves in the appropriate social distancing manner that is current at that date.
If you want to join us and want an Advocacy for Humankind sign to hold, please contact us before June 10 so we can order one for you.
We will have Advocacy for Humankind Coordinated Stalking brochures available for people to hand out.
When: June 26, 2020
Time: 11am to 2pm
Where: Ferry Building at the Embarcadero in San Francisco, California
